Some Groups Just Don’t Get Along – Stannis Brocker

As the classic intro to KKND 2 suggests Some Groups Just Don’t Get Along.

It’s been seen throughout history, politics and literature. Orcs and Humans, Angels and Devils, The Mongols and everyone and in today’s case Stannis Brocker and anyone who isn’t paying him.

Now I enjoy painting models with elegant and lengthy backstories, who have lots of background with excellent hooks for gaming or role playing. But sometimes I want someone with all the depth and thought of an 80’s Arnie character.

In the Iron Kingdoms background, the deepest thought to cross Brocker’s shallow, mercenary mind is which of your body parts to remove first. Sometimes it’s nice when life is simple and happiness is a warm broadsword.

As for the painting, I’ve tried to keep to the steel and blue main colours I’ve used on all my steelheads, and you’ll see this as a theme as I finally get them done.

As always comments are welcome below and I’ll aim to add the first unit from the challenge tomorrow.
